Here is the overview of the 1st yr 8 unit with objectives and an outline of structure of lessons and activities – there will be individual lessons ready which I will put on the central resources on the 1st day back. If I can figure out how to put on here via external site I will put up the 1st few.

Homelearning sheet is also complete – books and appropriate KS3 websites need to be addded- any suggestions let me know. Ill add school and library text books when we return.

Here is the full yr 13 SOW for the Ethics side of the course. It covers the whole year. I have organised it slightly differently from last year and added the A01 and A02 descriptors and graded objectives.
Jackie if you can check these over and get back to me with any feedback that would be great.

Hi Megan and Siobhan
This is a copy of the home learning sheet which needs to be used for yrs 7 & 10. However, as discussed at our meeting, I propose giving it out to the other year groups too.
Regarding the homework issue with books. What I think makes most sense is that students do their homework on paper and that we have a homework wallet for each student, in which they keep their homeworks – this would save the expense of separate books or loads of printing and would allow for students who want to tyoe work up or drop it into our postboxes on the VLE. It will mean needing filing cabinet space for storing the wallets, but I am sure we can use on of the filing cabinets from the Hums office as they will no longer be needed for yr 7. In B31 there is room for a filing cabinet inside the door and in B30 there is loads of space now I have got rid of the pink cupboard.

This is an introductory lesson to the idea of god in Hinduism. Apart from the short answer questions there is nothing that must be on paper. Other resources are optional and may save time or support pupils with L4 or below targets.
